The original Blue-Red aggro highlander list has been lost to the sands of time. Many player’s have tried their hands at and created various versions since then. Andrew Reid played what they referred to as a tempo version, dubbed Dr. Seuss by Andrew Vance for the idea of red fish, blue fish. The bus is a prowess focused list designed by Tim Evers. Isaac Egan built Wan-Chin red for his then girlfriend (now wife) to play. Christopher Turner honed a particularly aggressive build for the 2018 Highlander Championship. Below is included an example list, though many variants have existed and each have been tuned to their pilot’s individual tastes

Experienced pilots include (Discord usernames): Tim Evers (?), Andrew Reid, Isaac Egan (Isaac), Christopher Turner.

    PRIMER: DR SUESS

This archetype is a far more Tempo-focused version of Blue Moon, employing similar principles of the moon ‘lock out’ but instead lays an early threat and backs up that tempo with soft permission. A full primer is still forthcoming, but for now we have the latest list shared by Andrew Vance, who coined the excellent name for this deck:

    For posterity:
A lot of people have been talking about more aggro versions of blue moon. This is an *extremely* aggro version of roughly that called Dr Suess (AKA blue/red fish).

The list below is from Andrew Reid‘s 3rd place finish at nats last cancan; so it’s a few sets out of date but is a decent starting point.

It’s very fast, and has some out of nowhere kills when you have some stuff and then take two additional turns.

    PRIMER: TURBO CLAMP

This archetype was developed by Sarven McLinton (me) as a means by which new players can combat control decks on a budget. The issue with budgets and aggro decks is players shy away from Blue, meaning that their creatures often get swept away by Anger of the Gods and other wrath effects, leaving you wishing that you had a counterspell. With UW Tempo you can keep up the beats with soft permission, and then late game threats when needed. A primer can be found here:

As one of the few pilots of this deck and noticing that is my list from Cancon17 I suppose I can champion this deck.

Also as a note that list is missing the Underground sea.

Awesome mate, sounds good – if you post here a few paragraphs as a primer re playstyle, key cards, cool interactions, or matchups with the field I’ll add your primer to the OP crediting you of course. Duly noted on Usea, can add when I revise the post with your primer.

Oi this deck is not a developing archetype clearly its an top tier deck or at the least an established archetype because last time I checked this deck beats the top tier decks consistently.

The only actual deck that has a much better game is elves.
